SIS has student life programs for day students. They coordinate work with individuals from the offices of the other Assistant Heads, the Health Center, and the Student Services office. Our mission is to create a campus community that supports a high quality of instruction and has a positive effect on the lives of our students, enabling them to succeed in school, college, career and life. Since Dehradun is surrounded by natural beautiful picnic spots like Sahstradhara, Kempty Falls, Robbers Cave, FRI, Budha Garden, Deer park etc. the Students are mostly taken to these fascinating places for recreation picnics. Various celebrations during the year and sports activities, off beat games and competitions provide students not only personal grooming but round the year recreation. Skits during the morning assembly also give lot of fun and motivation to the students. Occasional outings to various branded eating joints and shopping malls is a big change. Trekking on small hillocks and woods sometimes give children a rare glimpse of wild life, too. Off and on students visit theaters to watch interesting movies for children. Sometimes theater artists from India and abroad are invited to conduct workshops and perform with students. Library The Sanskar International School™ Library is an integral part of the instructional program of the school and provides an environment for academic research and reading. Members of the library staff are available to help locate materials, answer research questions, and aid in the use of technology. A student-run book club meets monthly to discuss one of the books. Informative magazines and good books are the craze for the children. They visit the library and carry out silent reading. This is an integral part of the time table. Thousands books covering various subjects make library a store house of knowledge. New books are added regularly to the library. The books which guide and motivate the children to pursue a particular line for their career are also procured. Newspapers keep the students abreast with the latest world-wide happenings.
